| Beer Tasting for those that Whine |
By: J. Hamilton, Age: 42, Province: Ontario |
I hosted a Beer Tasting Party for some "inexBEERienced" Carling drinkers. You know, the type that assume because it is cheaper, it won't taste good!? We 'blind' taste tested 8 different beers and Carling came in first place overall! My friends could't believe it! I think I converted them! Therefore, my 'Great Beer Decision" was to educate peoples opinion of Carling!
| What time is it? |
By: bestwood, Age: 46, Province: Ontario |
Working one day at the hunt camp my friends and I were all sweating and getting very thirsty. We had lunch already and decided that it was almost time to take a break. My one buddy had asked me what time is it, I looked at my watch and told him imagine that Its BEER-OCLOCK, so we stopped working and had a few Carling Light. Now when ever we get together at the camp ITS BEER-OCLOCK is always said by everyone when its time for a refreshment.
| A Walk To Remember |
By: james88, Age: 19, Province: Ontario |
A couple summers ago, a couple of friends and I headed out to our cabin on the lake. When We got there To our terrible surprise we had forgotten every single bottle back home!! With no service and no ride back to town we knew our weekend would be ruined. After about an hour of sulking and being extremely thirsty, I knew there was only one thing I could do......walk. Four hours later I was in my house grabbing the keys for my car that was freshly packed with four 2-4's of Carling. I headed back to the camp and saved the weekend for everyone. Definitely a walk to remember.
| 1500 Beer Bottle Art Installation |
By: Fox Mulder, Age: 27, Province: Ontario |
My college roommates and I had A LOT of empty Carling bottles and I had to put on an art exhibit in my final year of university. The Toronto Skyline made from 1500 Carling bottles and their cases is the only reason I have a degree in fine arts and was my greatest beer decision!
| Beer While Swimming |
By: Dr. Zed, Age: 38, Province: Ontario |
I love my cottage. As you can guess having an ice cold beer surrounded by nature's glory is one of the best things about being there, so is a refreshing swim in the lake especially after the ling drive from the city. One Friday evening I couldn't decide which I wanted first. So I thought, "hey why not do both?!" So there I was standing in the water at the end of the dock with an ice cold Carling in my hands (a can of course, slippery rocks, water and glass don't mix) and I thought "now this is a Great Beer Decision!"
| Mountain Brew |
By: Goggles, Age: 35, Province: Ontario |
My great beer decision wasn't combining Mountain Dew and Carling into a glorious spritzer named Mountain Brew. My great beer decision was faking how awesome it was long enough to convince a room full of others to try it out. Since then, drinking Carling without any adjuncts or fizzy additives has been a much greater beer decision.
| Celebrating Life's Milestones |
By: Dennis, Age: 34, Province: Ontario |
My girlfriend recently gave birth to our first child, Sofie. We were overjoyed! We had to stay in the hospital for several days afterwords, which was not comfortable. On a quick trip home to gather supplies, I swung by the beer store and picked up a 6 pack of Carling Light King Cans. I packed each individually in styrofoam cups with ice, which kept them nice and cold and hid them in my bag. As freinds and family stopped by to visit, I was able to offer them a great beer to mark the occasion! we enjoyed the new addition over a great brew! Thanks Carling! Dennis Pearn

| Snow Man Beer Cooler |
By: The Dude, Age: 27, Province: Ontario |
When I was going to university my
roommates and I had a policy, beer in the fridge or a cooler was up for
grabs. I learned to find alternate places to keep my
beer. I resorted to a snowman we made
in the front yard. No one ever looked there and the snow was the perfect
insulator, the beer was kept cold but didn't freeze. The secret is to hollow
out the bottom of the snowman and put a pox in there to create an air space,
put in a few beer and seal it over with snow. Snow Man Beer Cooler: A Great
Beer Decision
| After a Hard Day |
By: Cappy, Age: 43, Province: Ontario |
I work in the Heating and Air Conditioning
Trade, and when I come home from work after lugging those furnaces and air
conditioners around all day, there is nothing like an ice cold carling to end
my day. Wheter it be spring, summer, fall or winter, when you do physical
labour, there is nothing quite like it. Only a cold carling will do for me.
I'm a loyal carling fan. I've tried others, but I always come back. It's my
favorite beer.
| Good Golf Day |
By: Luc, Age: 37, Province: Ontario |
On a nice Sunny day, went golfing with
three buddies from work. By the time we got to the second hole, I was empting
some garbage from by golf bag and proceeded to the trash can at the tee off.
I happend to look into the trash can and noticed a $20 bill on the bottom of
the can. I picked it up and called the beer caddy over and bought a round for
the guys and me.
| party trailer |
By: bucky, Age: 37, Province: Ontario |
a trailer built from a fridge in a
horizontal position - lifting the lid to the side, paint the trailer with the
Carling colors & incorporate the Kawasaki logo - it's a party trailer to
take to the beach, pig roast, bbq, etc. that can be towed to the party behind
a new Kawasaki - the life & supplier of the party!
| Beer Case Couch |
By: juniorgh151, Age: 37, Province: Ontario |
When i was in college my roomates and I
were straving students. We were tight on funds....But of coarse being young
men we needed our carling light. So instead of wasting our money on silly
things like a couch we impervised. We bought our beer and when we had enough
empty case we covered them with a sheet and made our own couch. That was the
best beer decision I ever made.
| Beer Pail Cooler |
By: Shane, Age: 19, Province: Ontario |
One time I had forgotten my cooler at a
friends place after a night of fun/chaos. I was headed to another buddies
place the next night and needed something to put my loose beer in and keep
them cool. I found a large pail in my garage and stacked my beers inside by
doing layers of some standing upright and the next layer inverted. Between
each layer i poured ice on the bottles. The beer fit snug, didnt rattle or
come loose, and stayed very cool all night!!! Definetly a good beer
decision!!!!
| Brothers from different mothers |
By: truckerwes, Age: 32, Province: Ontario |
Sitting back on the shores of the North
Sask. River one day, two friends decided after a few wobbily pops that there
had to be a different way to drink their favorite beer . ad
a little bit of Clamato Juice and a few olives to their Carling they had stumbled onto
the best way to drink beer, Ever! What to
call their new drink? After a couple of hours and a couple of the new drinks
they decicded to call it a " Prairie Martini ". And that is the
tale of two brothers from different mothers with one hell of an idea.
